The F2500IR system provides "HVHZ" (High Velocity, Hurricane Zone) protection while maintaining an aesthetically pleasing design.  The system underwent strict HVHZ testing and met all Florida Building Code (FBC) levels of performance.  The system offers the structural integrity that is required to withstand hurricane forces which are comm in HVHZ zones.   

The single-span, center-set system offers a 2-1/2" x 5" profile with a glazing infill for 1-5/16" or 9/16" glazing. For ease of installation, the system offers screw spline fabrication allowing for pre-assembly of frames in the glazier's facility, thus reducing time and costly man-hours indicative of field work.    

API's HVHZ Impact (Glazed) Commercial Doors passed the strictest Florida codes and received a 100% approval rating for up to 96" x 96" (pair) with the F2500IR framing and includes sidelite conditions up to 10' in height.
